Catching up

We had a blast at the Southern Women's Show in Savannah this past weekend!

Here’s a little eye candy for you poor souls who weren’t able to attend:

Those hard working firefighters raised a TON of money for the Augusta Burn Unit.

One firefighter called his girlfriend up on stage and announced that it was her 21st birthday. She was completely red. The music stopped and he got serious…and then he proposed! It was so cute!

Skie is doing a little better. She was a real Houdini the past few weeks and got out of her pen several times. Justin hooked her up with a better pen and she seems to be taking it well. I grabbed this shot of her after Justin returned home from duck hunting one day a few weeks ago. It looks like she’s trying to learn to be a bird dog.

And look what a friend just dropped off at my desk today:

She pre-ordered Black Heels and Tractor Wheels and is so busy she can’t read it right now. She offered to let me borrow it. If you have never heard of Ree Drummond, the Pioneer Woman, you’ve been missing out! She has an awesome blog and her recipes are to die for! I know what I’ll be doing for the rest of this week!

Head on over to the baby blog to read the latest about our bundle of joy!

Oh my goodness! I have been to one of these! Too cute! Looks like a lot of fun! I am a new finder of your blog! I love it. Too cute! Could you please write me a guest blog post? I am going into chemo treatments for my cancer and I really need some people holding up my blog, and I would honored if you would!
