Work Lately

October is always a big month for agriculture. We have been tied up with the Georgia National Fair, the Sunbelt Ag Expo is coming up, and I get to see some of my favorite companies debut their new products all over the state.

White Oak Pastures in Bluffton is home to some of the coolest folks you will ever meet. I met Jenni Harris through AGL and then I got to know her sister Jodi Benoit working on Georgia Grown Trail 37 stuff. The whole Harris/Benoit family is welcoming and play perfect hosts whenever we make our way over to visit. The Cook clan traveled over that way for the grand opening of the W.O.P. General Store. Jodi did a fabulous job filling it with unique ag products, great foods, and amazing decoration. We had lunch at the Pavilion and of course had to stop and see some of the animals along the way.
