Day 18 - my wedding/future wedding ideas/past wedding

*This is an auto-post since I’m probably worn out from all of the wedding festivities! I'll return to the land of the living on Tuesday!

Justin and I got married almost two years ago, on October 4, 2008. It was a great day and we were just so happy to be married and be around our friends and family. Here are a few of my favorite snaps from the day:

This was at our rehearsal dinner.

My sister bought these glasses for us. We will definitely pass them on to my two younger sisters for fun!

 

Our cake was to die for! It had a vanilla layer, a chocolate layer, and a key lime layer. The next year on our 1st anniversary, we ate the top layer and it was just as good as our wedding day!

Yes, my husband had a red velvet armadillo cake straight out of Steel Magnolias and he took special care to keep the butt for our honeymoon basket. He’s such a romantic.

 

I had the best bridesmaids! My two sisters are on the left, my bestie and MOH in orange, my college roommate Amanda and one of my friends since elementary school Becky.

My niece Rivers was the flower girl. Notice all that tulle—her mama decided her dress wasn’t poofy enough and added tons of tulle!

 

My nephews Jake and Ben carried this sign instead of traditional ring pillows.  They walked out before us with it flipped to say Mr. & Mrs. Cook. My handy SIL came up with that all on her own, too!

   

We had a wonderful day and are so blessed!
