We celebrated Wyatt’s 5th birthday a few days early because of the timing of Georgia’s birth. This was the first year we had an “immediate family only” party. I felt so guilty not inviting any of his friends but I was having a baby two days later so we had to just deal with the guilt. We had his party at Mrs. Desiree and Mr. Sheldon’s house so Wyatt and his five cousins could swim and play on the slip and slide and with the water balloons.

On his actual birthday, Amanda took him some goodies and balloons to school and made him feel like a king!
That was also the day we brought Georgia home from the hospital but Justin and I didn’t want Wyatt to feel skipped over so we stopped at Harvey’s and bought ice cream cups for all of his friends. After that, we made our way home for the first time as a family of four! I think he understood and didn’t mind too terribly about sharing his birthday with Georgia’s arrival. Time flies!
