Last weekend, Sami and I hosted a baby shower for Suzi at our house. It had rained for nearly 36 hours and I am so thankful for the guests that braved my dirt road to come. I obviously lack in photography skills. I snapped these with my iPhone.
All of these pictures are from my incredibly uber-talented photo sister Sami:
Suzi’s SIL Becky made the adorable centerpiece. It is a diaper cake with great baby supplies.
My SIL Amanda painted this sign for Pax’s room and made all of the big fluffy chevron bows.
Mama made a veggie tray, three kinds of dips, a cheese ball, and the drinks.
Sami made a naked pound cake layered with homemade whipped cream and Calhoun Produce strawberries (Thanks, Mrs. Sheila!!!). Have I mentioned that I am completely surrounded by talented women and the only thing I can do is whip up a mean budget spreadsheet and mail merge labels from a database like nobody’s business? I would hope that all of this creativity would rub off on me but nothing so far.
It was a beautiful shower and everyone got her the most thoughtful gifts. I am so glad to be welcoming this baby boy into the world this summer!
