Halloween was a blast for Wyatt. I was fighting bronchitis so I wasn’t up to par that night. I love the fact that we live in town and can walk around to trick or treat. Wyatt was the cutest little blue monster.
He said it was Sulley from Monsters, Inc., but he only had one eye like a cyclops, so not quite.
We started the festivities with a party at day care. I loved seeing all the kids dressed up and they sat like angels for their goodies. After that, we had chili at the house for my parents, Suzi and David, Sami, and Amanda and Michael. Mrs. Desiree and Mr. Sheldon took Jake, Ben, and Rivers to Mule Day so they missed out on the fun. We sure missed them. I think this is the first Halloween since we’ve been married they haven’t been around.
Suzi and Sami walked around with us. We went to First Baptist’s Trunks of Treats and Wyatt hugged everyone there. The City of Ashburn also had Trick or Treats on the street and many civic groups and businesses were passing out candy. Estimates were that over 1,000 kids came out for the fun.
When Justin and I were up in Duluth the night before the Georgia game, I picked up these cute paws and tail to dress up a little bit and to match Wyatt. All said, we had a great time. I’m glad to have our family around for such a fun night!
