We started off last Saturday at Mama and Daddy’s house to get loaded up to head to The Rock Ranch in The Rock, Georgia. It’s a great place to take kids. They really want children to have full run of the place.
Mama, Wyatt, and I stopped in Cordele and picked up Suzi and Liam and headed north. We had a great time!
On a side note, Wyatt was really taking advantage of being able to run wild with little interruption. When I saw he was heading to a very muddy creek bank and tried to stop him, he kept on going. He ended up sinking almost knee-deep in the mud and I had to roll up my pants and rescue him and his Sperry’s that had gotten sucked off in the mud. I have never been so furious in my life!!! By the time I was able to get him out of the mud, the entire experience terrified Wyatt, so I didn’t get on to him very much. I figured he learned his lesson. Suzi had to dunk him like a tea bag into a nearby pond to get all of the mud off of him. Mama held onto me while I managed to swish the mud off my calves and feet too. Needless to say, I will definitely hold onto him a little more closely when we go next time.
All said, it was a great trip and these cousins were wiped out!
