So here we go! Seven random things you might (or might not) want to know…

Here are my seven things:

• I HATE frogs! IhatethemIhatethemIHATETHEM! They seem to know this and have started congregating on my newly erected back porch every night when it’s time to let the dog out.
• I can’t carry a tune in a bucket, but I love to sing in the car all the time!
• I don’t like to cook by a recipe. Baking is trouble for me because it usually requires very strict recipes and techniques. I actually had to make pasta salad one time just to give someone a recipe because I  didn’t know how much dressing, etc. to tell her to use. I just “do it ‘til it looks right.”
• Interestingly, following that last tidbit, I have more cookbooks than the law should allow :)
• I am a voracious reader. I just started reading my first Jen Lancaster book (Such a Pretty Fat) and I want to be her friend in real life. Her writing makes me literally laugh out loud. Shellie Tomlinson did the same thing with Suck Your Stomach in and Put Some Color On!

• If I were to move anywhere other that where I am now (other than to a new house in the country), I would be in Statesboro. It captured my heart for four years in college and I’d love to be back there if it were closer to my family.
• I love blogging and the friends I have met through it all. Ya’ll are really great :)
