Holiday decorating

           

Bells will be ringing…

That’s one of my favorite Christmas songs, but this time it means a whole different kind of bell: WEDDING BELLS!

 

My sister Suzi is engaged to the sweetest guy. I’ll be glad to add not only a brother to the family, but a nephew as well. Liam and Wyatt are good friends now and I’m glad for Wy to have another cousin. The big day is July 13, 2013. I’m gonna be one happy Matron of Honor too!

  

We went dress shopping right away and Suzi found the greatest dress. It was the first one she tried on. I can’t show it off yet, but here is a sneak peek from dress shopping. The one on the far right didn’t make the cut but I thought it was adorable like all the rest!

  

December Misc. Happenings

Wyatt checked out Aunt Suzi’s new classroom.
   
Jake is a master farmer- he is growing turnips, broccoli, and cabbage. Wyatt likes to get out and “help".”
 
I’m a blonde again thanks to my SIL and her mastery of persuasion and box hair color.
 
I made an iPhone dock out of some cool old books from Goodwill for less than $5.
 
I stayed at a totally shady hotel in Toccoa for work—never doing that again!
     
We went to Cordele and Ashburn’s Christmas parades.
  
We celebrated Sami’s 22nd birthday…
 
…and Ben’s 9th!
    
I was a little crafty decorating iPhone chargers, candles, and Christmas ornament signs.  
We played a lot.
 
And I got a new headshot for work. WHEW! That was a lot and we haven’t even started on Christmas festivities yet!

Downtown Tifton Holiday Shopping with Mimi

Wyatt and I spent a night last week visiting the Georgia Museum of Agriculture’s Holiday Market and checking out downtown Tifton’s holiday open house. We had a blast and even went on a carriage ride!
