Fire Ant Festival

I am terrible. I don't believe I have failed so hard in the past 6 years of Fire Ant Festivals. This one small picture of Wyatt and Georgia on the ant mound is the only single, solitary picture I took of the whole weekend. We had a series of small mishaps that caused us some grief but geez I failed big time on this one!

Chehaw Park

Suzi, David, Pax, Liam, Mama, Wyatt, Georgia, and I all took a trip over to Chehaw Park one day. The kids had a great time and the weather was wonderful. I can see this becoming a regular occurrence for our crew!

TCYF Ag Literacy

During Ag Literacy Week, the Turner County young Farmers and the Turner County Farm Bureau Chapter read to the local elementary school. They were able to donate over 50 ag-related books to the library too!

Rustapalooza

I can't remember where I heard about Rustapalooza first but when I did I sure got excited! I asked Amanda if she wanted to go with me. I also got Mrs. Desiree to go and then Rivers and Georgia tagged along, too! We rode down to St. Mary's. I never realized what an amazing little town it is. I would like to go back some time with Justin maybe for the weekend.

We had a great time. I was surrounded by amazing junky pieces everywhere I turned. While a lot of it was overpriced, I did score some good deals. I purchased some old church letters and then some printing press blocks with our family initials. I want to do a gallery wall with our initials everywhere!
